Private Silversmithing Sessions

I teach private silversmithing sessions for you and the people you bring. We can meet at Non-Pareil Ranch just outside Bakersfield, California, or I can come to your home or wherever you'd like to hold it. It's a good fit if you want more individual instruction or want to work on a specific project. Beginners and people with some experience at the bench are both welcome.

What we can cover

Depending on the project, we can cover the types and gauges of silver, layout and cutting, filing and shaping, soldering, setting stones, finishing and polishing, and safe tool use. You'll make a small piece of silver yourself, like a ring or a pendant, and I'll walk you through each step.

Good to know

• Most of my classes run four to five hours.
• A private session needs at least 8 people.
• Tools and materials are included in the price.
• The price depends on the project. Send me a message and I'll give you a price.
• If I come to you, there is a small travel fee within 100 miles. Farther than that, different rates apply.
• All sales are final and there are no refunds. If you need to change your date, let me know at least two weeks ahead and your session can be moved to another date.

Sessions depend on my schedule. Send me a message with how many people are coming, what you'd like to make, where you'd like to hold it, and a few dates that could work, and I'll talk through what makes sense.
