Shipping & Handling

Every piece from Sarah Smith Silver is packed and shipped by hand, with the same care that went into making it. Here's exactly what to expect after you place your order.

Domestic Shipping (United States)
You'll choose one of two options at checkout:

• Standard — $15. Ships USPS Priority Mail, typically arriving in 3–5 business days.
• Expedited — $45. Ships USPS Express Mail, typically arriving in 1–2 business days.

Every order ships with a tracking number, sent straight to your email.

When will my order ship?

• Ready-to-ship pieces leave the studio within 1–2 business days.
• Custom orders ship once the piece is finished and paid in full. Custom work is handmade start to finish, so the timeline depends on the complexity of the design — it's not something we rush. If you'd like to speed things up once your piece is complete, you're welcome to add expedited shipping.

International Shipping
We ship to select countries via USPS Priority Mail International, which can take 10–20 business days. International shipping is calculated at checkout. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes charged by their country, as well as any risk while the package is in transit.

Insurance & added protection
USPS Priority Mail includes up to $50 in coverage. Since many of our pieces are worth more than that, we recommend adding upgraded insurance and/or signature confirmation. To add either, email us at sarah@granitestation.com (or use our Contact page) with your name and order number before your item ships.

Once tracking is generated and USPS scans your package in, the shipment is in the carrier's hands and responsibility passes to USPS and the buyer. We're always glad to help you chase down a package, but we can't be responsible for carrier delays or loss once it's left the studio.
